Phil Hoffman, LaBrie and Arata Equipment -This course will cover multiplexing and electro-hydraulic control systems. Modern safety interlocks, troubleshooting and adjustment strategies Topics include function and operation of mechanical side loaders, and hydraulic cylinder systems. Also discussed are diagnosis and repair techniques, including servicing, a review of basic engine mechanical testing.

Refrigeration Systems Operation and Testing
Marlon Kunz, GM. This full day Instructor-Led Training (ILT) course will provide technicians with the foundational knowledge of Air Conditioning (AC) system operation required to effectively service, diagnose and repair R-134a and R-1234yf based AC systems. The operation, computerized control and common failures will be discussed from the point of view of system diagnostics and servicing. The goal is to teach service procedures that result in maximum AC system efficiency. The following components will be covered in detail: variable displacement compressors, electrically driven compressors, expansion valves, Internal Heat Exchangers (IHX), enhanced evaporators and condensers. Hands-on exercises will emphasize proper use of the tools and equipment while performing common service scenarios and diagnostics.
